Local author Carmel Rowley was one of several local writers that were in the hot seat during Qld Writers Week events in Toowoomba.

I’ve just finished updating several pages on the site, as well as removing some older material. I’m planning to set up the front page of the site as a blog, so any recent event pictures and info will be readily available to any site visitors.

I’ll be sending out an email update hopefully sometime over the weekend, including information about how Qld Writers Week went (10-16th October), some more upcoming events and some other writing news.

I’ll be posting up some more photos from the Qld Writers Week in the next few days, but for now, here’s a picture of one local author who was in the hotseat during the week, Carmel Rowley.
